My boiler repair Wirral services cover all parts of the Wirral. I can fix older boilers as well as the newer ones once I have identified the problem. Once I have inspected your boiler to find the problem I will let you know what is wrong with it and tell you what needs to be repaired or replaced. I can source any new parts for your boiler for you and add the cost to the final bill.

Depending upon the time of year, I may be able to attend to you right away, or I might have to arrange a suitable time to get to your property. I can source the majority of boiler parts from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM. Unfortunately, in some cases, some parts will need to be shipped and will not arrive until the following day.

A: It is highly likely that you have a Combi boiler due to their popularity. Combi boilers work by heating up the water inside the boiler eliminating the need for a water storage tank. When a combination boiler is installed, it is usually replacing an older hot/cold water storage system which may have been left behind but is disconnected from the system.

A: Yes-once I have inspected your boiler and identified what is wrong I can provide you with a fixed cost before any work commences.

A: Of course I can. I will source the replacement parts for your boiler at cost price. I am always happy to provide my customers with receipts so they can see for themselves how much the replacement parts have cost.

A: The majority of faults can be repaired. Minor faults such as loss of pressure or small leaks do not require any parts to fix them. However, loss of pressure can be a symptom of another problem within the central heating system. Below is a list of the usual parts that often need replacing:

PCB Board

Water Pressure Switch

Diverter Valve

Overheat Stat

Gas Valve

I cannot provide you with prices on replacement parts right away because prices vary from boiler to boiler. Prices can only be provided once the exact part needed has been identified and the supplier has provided me with the price.

A: Only a gas safe registered heating engineer (like myself) is allowed to carry out work on your boiler. For those who don’t know, CORGI registered used to be the safety certificate provided for heating engineers but has now been replaced by Gas Safe registered.

A: Once I have arrived at your property I will quickly diagnose the issue with your boiler. I will then discuss with you what is wrong and what needs to be done to rectify the problem. Only after inspecting your boiler will appeal to provide you with a fixed cost for a boiler repair. A: In most cases, parts are sourced on the same day. Some parts might need to be shipped overnight from a supplier which means they should arrive the following day.

A: I highly recommend you not to try and source the part yourself just in case you order the wrong part by mistake. If you would like to source your own parts, then we can arrange that you pay for my labour only. Paying for labour only can work out more expensive if the wrong parts are purchased.

A: Unfortunately, yes. When the boiler breaks down its not necessarily just one part that needs to be repaired or replaced. Obviously, the more parts needed, the more expensive the final cost.
